Kassey graduated from CSU in 2014 and during her time there, she completed an internship at TOLMAR, Inc., a pharmaceutical company. Through her experience there, she assisted in new-hire safety training, job hazard assessments, hazardous waste inspections and revised safety data sheets. From May 2014 to November 2020, Kassey also interned at Hellman & Associates and then as Senior EHS Consultant. She was a project manager for AssuredCompliance clients, helped on Industrial Hygiene Steering Committee and served as an SGE. From November 2020 to October 2021, she was an Industrial Hygienist at Children’s Hospital Colorado. While there, Kassey completed a hospital-wide EHS gap assessment in addition to IH duties including routine IAQ monitoring, water sampling and waste anesthetic gas monitoring. She returned to H&A in October 2021 as the Process Improvement Director.
Alex Bray has years of experience helping companies comply with regulatory requirements and improve their health and safety programs. He is well versed in OSHA standards. Specific areas of knowledge/expertise include: electrical safety, OSHA recordkeeping, emergency preparedness, hazard communication and blood borne pathogens. After graduating from Colorado State University in 2012, Alex worked for H&A as an EHS Consultant for roughly three years assisting AssuredComplianceSMclients with development and implementation of their EHS programs. After his tenure at H&A, Alex spent nearly five years as a Senior EHS Coordinator for a global medical device manufacturer headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado. His key responsibilities included regulatory compliance management (OSHA, RCRA, EPCRA, NESHAP, NDPES, etc.), implementation of continual improvement projects, tracking and trending of EHS metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), maintenance of the company’s ISO 14001 and 45001 management system certifications, and general oversight of departmental objectives and targets. He helped the organization achieve significant reductions in waste generation, natural resource consumption, and Workers’ Compensation claims, and influenced a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization. He rejoined the H&A team in July of 2022 as a Senior EHS Consultant.
Dawsen Cook has a background in construction, quality control, risk management and general health and safety. He worked as a field intern for two summers and then spent another summer as a field assessor in the safety department for one of the largest construction companies in a four-state region (Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas). Site safety support included projects with bridge construction, aquarium and college facilities building. Dawsen also has experience as a quality control technician for a concrete batch plant with direct responsibility for safety meetings, traffic control operations and concrete mixtures quality control.

    Prior to graduating from Colorado State University in 2019, Kaiza interned for the Environmental Health & Safety Department at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Through her experience there, Kaiza was able to support the company through an OSHA Voluntary Protection Program  recertification, perform noise monitoring and develop a comprehensive noise map and update their hazard communication program. Kaiza’s professional experience includes supporting EHS development and implementation for Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE), serving as a safety coordinator. In her time at KSE, she developed a comprehensive health & safety program and built relationships with employees.     Heather Larson oversees the Hellman & Associates databases, keeping our operations on track. Her 20+ years of data system management coupled with her office administration skills ensure that all of our systems are running correctly, our data is accurate and current, and our key performance indicators are met.

    Heather wears multiple hats, ranging from gas detection sales and support to safety manual compilation to maintaining customer compliance calendars. She splits her time between internal and client-facing tasks, and applies her analytical skills to support H&A staff in continually evaluating and honing processes for heightened efficiency.

    As our gas detection representative, Heather is the manufacturer liaison and works with the H&A client team to recommend the best gas detection solution for the client’s environment. She also supports gas detection maintenance operations for portable equipment.   Heather is certified in Microsoft Project and is currently working on her Salesforce certification.  
    Ashten McCloskey’s current work responsibilities include industrial hygiene sampling, conducting on-site safety assessments, and developing, implementing and monitoring systems to meet OSHA standards.     Ray Robitschek has over five years of EHS experience in both the public and private sectors. He has supported companies both big and small in general industry and construction.
