Kassey graduated from CSU in 2014 and during her time there, she completed an internship at TOLMAR, Inc., a pharmaceutical company. Through her experience there, she assisted in new-hire safety training, job hazard assessments, hazardous waste inspections and revised safety data sheets. From May 2014 to November 2020, Kassey also interned at Hellman & Associates and then as Senior EHS Consultant. She was a project manager for AssuredCompliance clients, helped on Industrial Hygiene Steering Committee and served as an SGE. From November 2020 to October 2021, she was an Industrial Hygienist at Children’s Hospital Colorado. While there, Kassey completed a hospital-wide EHS gap assessment in addition to IH duties including routine IAQ monitoring, water sampling and waste anesthetic gas monitoring. She returned to H&A in October 2021 as the Process Improvement Director.

After graduating from Colorado State University in 2012, Alex worked for H&A as an EHS Consultant for roughly three years assisting AssuredComplianceSMclients with development and implementation of their EHS programs. After his tenure at H&A, Alex spent nearly five years as a Senior EHS Coordinator for a global medical device manufacturer headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado. His key responsibilities included regulatory compliance management (OSHA, RCRA, EPCRA, NESHAP, NDPES, etc.), implementation of continual improvement projects, tracking and trending of EHS metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), maintenance of the company’s ISO 14001 and 45001 management system certifications, and general oversight of departmental objectives and targets. He rejoined the H&A team in July of 2022 as a Senior EHS Consultant.

Preceding Hellman & Associates, Jeff worked for Electrical Technologies as a senior project manager. During his time there, he kept teams on-task with proactive controls of budgets, schedules and scopes. He maintained close connections with project personnel to quickly identify and resolve issues. He also sustained a high level of service to clients extending relationships and encouraging more projects. Prior to Electrical Technologies, he worked for Martin Technical as a industrial safety consultant. He trained employees in proper safety procedures to minimize accidents by engaging proper behavior. Jeff assessed workplace compliance with key safety standards and regulations by initiating processes to correct deficiencies. Prior to joining the Hellman & Associates team, Ryan was employed by Great Western Oil and Gas as their Health and Safety Coordinator in Longmont, Colorado. His primary job functions included oversight of the company’s safety and health programs, delivery of safety training to 130+ employees, new hire orientation and incident reporting and investigation. Proceeding Great Western, Ryan was employed by Jacam Chemicals where he gained knowledge of hazardous communication and DOT regulations. Due to the diversity of Ryan’s professional career, he retains the ability to serve customer needs quickly and accurately while keeping safety as the top priority.
Heather wears multiple hats, ranging from gas detection sales and support to safety manual compilation to maintaining customer compliance calendars. She splits her time between internal and client-facing tasks, and applies her analytical skills to support H&A staff in continually evaluating and honing processes for heightened efficiency.
As our gas detection representative, Heather is the manufacturer liaison and works with the H&A client team to recommend the best gas detection solution for the client’s environment. She also supports gas detection maintenance operations for portable equipment. Heather is certified in Microsoft Project and is currently working on her Salesforce certification.

Preceding Hellman & Associates, Ashten worked for Liberty Oilfield Services as an Engineering Intern in Colorado, North Dakota and Texas. During her time there, she trained as an engineer tracking data and managing chemical inventory for materials at oil and gas locations. Ashten was an Environmental Field Consultant for Aspen Ridge Technical Services conducting residential groundwater sampling for Montana Resources Inc. Classes taken during her master’s program in Industrial Hygiene from Montana Tech include noise, toxicology, ergonomics, chemical hazards and other industrial hygiene related topics. He also worked in the safety department at BYU-Idaho as a HAZMAT Safety Specialist and was responsible for the appropriate storage and disposal of all chemicals used on campus while managing the safety data sheets.
